Username: freyja
Full Name: mountainflare
Gender: female
Preference: straight
Myers-Briggs: ESFJ
Alignment: Lawful Good
Appearance:
With a medium sized build, Mountain can neither be called stocky nor lithe. She's simply somewhere in the middle of those two. She stands tall, with well-built features and a broad chest. The girl has an athletic body, useful for swimming. Her prominent features include a long tail, a wide muzzle and sharp, almond shaped eyes.
Mountain's pelt is a mishmash of colors, beginning with a soft grey and ending with a charcoal colored tail and white splash markings. Her fur can be considered quite odd, something she holds her parent's accountable for. Her nose is a pale pink and brown speckled nib, useless since she will be born with no sense of smell. The girl's eyes are a deep copper, so piercing they can be considered intimidating. They're flecked with a bright olive, like little jade emeralds caught in a copper flame.
Personality:
arrogant / fiery / blunt / loyal / rule stickler
With fiery eyes comes a fiery personality. Mountain is just that, a fire bomb with a bright and vibrant personality. Her will is a strong one; she's stubborn as a mule and arrogant as they come. Nothing is too big or too strong for her to take on. Mountain would never admit she was wrong, its just not her nature. Always trying to be the best makes her quite competitive and loyal to the rules. She's no trouble maker and sticks to laws and rules like glue.
RP Sample:
The meadow was just beginning to glimmer with shades of amber and gold. The light from the sun reflected every sheen of golden poppy or shining lavender. The field was in peak bloom and the scents that wafted before Frostpetal were something out of an elder's tale. She was amazed at the dew that dripped from the petals to the warm, morning earth.
A sudden sadness came over the calico feline and her eyes dropped to the ground in front of her. "Rainstorm would have loved it here." She whispered, low and woeful. True, her mate loved the smells of New-Leaf and the sprouts of grass and flowers. Hopefully, he was watching from StarClan now. Frostpetal liked to believe he was.
Beliefs: Mountain is very superstitious, believing in both StarClan but also in the superstitious fiction that she hears. It will become a little bit compulsive as she ages to the point where its hard for her to function sometimes before someone can snap her out of it or she realizes the superstitions aren't true. (She may develop OCD as she ages.)
Soundtrack:
"Joan of Arc" - Arcade Fire
“Step Off” – Kacey Musgraves
Other: This litter is sooo exciting!! I have a bunch of plot ideas for this character and I'm so glad I wasn't too late to apply!

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]/Ahh thank you so much!! It's so nice to meet you all. :^)
Mountainkit stepped foreword, her whiskers twitching and paws itching with excitement. Her golden eyes sparkled with something a little like excitement and fear all mixed together. Her heart thrummed in her chest. This was it. Six moons of waiting and finally, she could become an apprentice!
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw shuffled her grey paws, listening to Ivylee with sharp curioisity until the meeting was finished. Looking around, the young 'paw noticed a few of those promoted, the ones her leader had mentioned. With a grin she mewed, "Congratulations!"
The grey tabby always got very excited with meetings, although she had only attended a couple as a kit. The thought of changes with the clan and new battles being announced all excited her a great deal.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Ayy could he mentor Mountainpaw?
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]yoo would anyone like a thread with Mountainpaw??
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Alright!! Arukin, do you have any ideas for a plot between them?? Mountain is real young and influential right now,, but she has a really bold and outgoing personality. :^)
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]// ahh she's so cute!! Her and Mountain should be bffs for sure. They have similar personalities. :^)
Mountainpaw pricked her ears and lifted her head from the trout she was enjoying. The newly named apprentice tilted her head to the side. She couldn't help but smile a little at Vanilla's proud, outgoing introduction. Honestly, Mountainpaw wished she had come up with an intro like that.
"Nice to meet you. Mountainpaw is my name." She offered, "How long have you been apprenticed?"
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]/ aww tysm!! Maybe they could have a hunting thread together??
Mountainpaw nodded, giving her a small smile. It was likely they'd see each other often since they were both in training, and she was quite excited about that.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw beamed, her chest puffed out and her eyes wide with exhilaration. "Thank you, Ivylee." She was an apprentice! Great StarClan, this was exciting. The thought of patrols and battles excited the young kitten so much it made her heart hurt.
She was so excited she almost missed Sam's offer. The newly named she-cat had never met Sam, or even set eyes on him really. He was a brilliant looking black deer, something that mystified Mountainpaw instantly. Even with a limp he looked capable and strong. Oh, please let him be my mentor.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw had never purposely woke up at the break of dawn and it showed. She was definitely not a morning person. Not even the excitement of her first training session with Sam would allow her the energy to completely wake up. Still, her heart pounded.
The nervousness of yesterday seemed to melt away and the newly named apprentice was left with a rush of emotion and a let's go now attitude. The grey female was standing outside the apprentice's den, blinking her tired eyes in the dawn's milky glow.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Yup! Here you go!
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]"Oh." Outside the cave's entrance Mountainpaw stood off to the side, her eyes widened in surprise. She had been looking for her mentor all morning, but it looked like he was busy.
With a quiet chuckle, the young apprentice decided not to intrude and to simply wait and give the two some privacy.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]If Mountain could whistle, she would have.
"It's getting kinda hot in here, amiright?" The little grey female grinned and gave Tadashi a laugh.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw took a seat beside her mentor, her eyes bright with excitement. She listened intently at the promotions, and when Sam's name was called she crowed, "Congratulations!" It came out at a chirp in the stag's ear. The young grey feline could hardly contain her excitement.
But when Ivylee called out her name, the joy just spilled over. "Thank you, Ivylee!" She whistled, eyes wide. To her, being recognised was a truly amazing moment. Wow! The title of Pearl! Mountainpaw wiggled.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw let out a quick breath, drawing the air in and it just catching in her throat.
The newly named apprentice was a little over three tail lengths away from Sollux when she saw him, over the little dip in the sand. Rushing over with no regard, she stood with her head and tail high.
"H-hello! I need your name and business, sir." This was the first time she had ever met someone on the border. Why did she have to be alone? This guy gave her the creeps. She met his gaze evenly, then let it drop to the cigarette in his jowls. The RiverClanner wrinkled her nose.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]She needs to teach Mountainpaw religion andddd they have lots of training threads together ;w;
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]"Thank you so much." Mountainpaw chirped, grinning from ear to ear.
-
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 390px; text-align: justify;]Mountainpaw opened her mouth to say something but quickly closed it. Maybe it would have been, did you have thorns in your nest all night? Maybe her mentor was always this quiet. Maybe Mountain was drawing conclusions too quickly.
"Yes." She chirped, matching him pawstep to pawstep. "What are we gonna do first?"
/ I'd really like them to form a tight friendship with Mountain looking up to Sam like a big brother figure??
-
